One reason 2011 didn't completely suck

All things told, 2011 was an eventful year on many fronts. One of the most notable events on this Whirled beat, of course, is that Jimmy Ray is now in a jumpsuit (for a while, anyway). It is, as the punch line in everyone's favorite attorney joke goes, a good beginning.

Who knows what 2012 will bring? For now, let's take a cue from the party hat in the "Before" pic (click on pic for enlargement). It's time to celebrate.

Happy New Year to all of you, and thank you for your support.

PS ~ Here is the fake robot's retrospective.

I think the first few months and perhaps even the whole year will be big for conspirituality theories. All the Illumininutti, Armageddon, Mayan Calendar advocates will be fighting to sell you (I mean reveal) their latest books, dvds and seminars and poke holes in each other's version of what will happen in 2012.
And the Republicans have some of the illuminutti in their own ranks. God Bless America and spare us the likes of Santorum, Gingrich, Bachmann and any other looney tune who decides to saddle up.

Re the conspirituality theories coming to a head in 2012, Anon: count on it. I'm sure that some of my favorite snargets, including and especially Kevin True-dough, will be front and center with frauducts and flopportunities to help folks "survive" 2012. KT has been playing the Illuminutty/New World Order (NWO) card for all it's worth for several years.

I agree with you about the Republiscum jokers too, though of course most of them will be putting a fundie Christian spin on the whole thing.

Actually Maurice Coterell who gave us the 2012 thing in the first place has disowned it as a mistake, but the monster he spawned just grows and grows.
It's days are numbered though, literally.

And here is Cotterell saying how his publisher took his ideas and added apocalytic marketing bullshit.

At around 5 mins. he gives the detail
