Kevin Trudeau v Robb Evans: the lies of taxes are upon you

I might as well finally break in the merry month of May on this Whirled, since the month is already almost half over. Gosh, where does the time go? Since I'm on deadline with a project and occupied with other matters of consequence, this will just be a brief update about imprisoned serial scammer Kevin Trudeau, who likes to be called KT, but whom I like to call Katie. In my
previous blog post on April 20 (scroll down to "Selling GIN from the clink"), I caught you up on, among several other things, some of the civil court action (Case number 1:03-cv-03904), sharing with you that Katie has been whining to the court because the court-appointed receiver, Robb Evans, hasn't been filing taxes for all of Katie's bidness entities on a timely basis, and also hasn't filed a status report in a heck of a long time. I gave you a link to that fine whine, but here it is again in case you haven't seen it yet or want to review:
https://www.scribd.com/doc/262276155/Trudeau-Civil-Case-Document-879-and-Exhibits-Trudeau-Motion-to-Compel-Receiver-to-File-Tax-Returns-and-File-a-Status-Report-04-01-15

On May 12, following the receiver's response, the Chicago media finally decided to join the party;
this is from the Sun-Times, and this is a CBS Chicago bit that sources the Sun-Times story.

Both stories quoted Katie as saying, "I have been stripped of all ego, arrogance, defiance and pride and for this I am very thankful, as it has made me a better person."

Well, let me tell you, I was shocked and dismayed to discover that some of you people are laughing at this. Poor Katie. Don't you cynics think it is at all possible that he has truly changed? Don't you remember
that Christmastime McMiracle he experienced while still partying and whooping it up at the MCC in Chicago in 2013? Don't you think it is possible that it was a true miracle and that it changed him forever from the inside out? You don't believe such a thing happened with our Katie?

Me neither.

But really, it's okay if you laugh. Katie himself was just talking about ha-ha moments on his Facebooks the other day (thank you to my dear friend Julie Daniel for pointing this out to me).
Here you go:

And I was so inspired by Saint Katie's message about the value of laughter that
I had to hear the Monkees sing about it.

But I'm going to give you more than a Monkees' song, and more than the Chicago media gave you. I'm going to give you links to the latest court docs regarding Katie and the receiver and all of those un-filed tax returns and whatnot.

1. First, there's the RECEIVER’S MOTION FOR LEAVE TO FILE RESPONSE INSTANTER
(which is pretentious legalese for "immediately"), a motion in which the receiver also asks the court give Trudeau extra time (well, one day extra) to file his response to the response. This motion and the attached Exhibits were filed on April 29, 2015, in response to Trudeau's insistence that the receiver file the proper tax returns for the Trudeau entities. The receiver argues that it has not filed tax returns for entities over which it either has no control, or for which Trudeau or his agents have not turned over the records. In response to Trudeau's demands for a new status report, the receiver explains the reasons for decreased frequency of status reports. Here is that link:
https://www.scribd.com/doc/265231640/Trudeau-Civil-Case-Document-882-and-Exhibits-Receivers-Motion-for-Leave-to-File-04-29-15-PDF

2. Then on May 12, 2015, Trudeau's lawyers filed a reply brief -- and it is brief, relatively speaking -- in support of Trudeau's original motion to compel Robb Evans to file tax returns and to file another status report. There's some good snarking in this one. Here is that link:
https://www.scribd.com/doc/265233499/Trudeau-Civil-Case-Document-885-Defendant-Trudeau-Reply-Brief-in-Support-of-His-Motion-05-12-15

There is still nothing new on the criminal case, court doc-wise, anyway. Trudeau's appeal (regarding his conviction and ten-year prison sentence), which was heard in February, has still not been decided. At the moment I have a feeling that Katie's time in the cage will not be as prolonged as many may have hoped.

I will have more soon.

PS ~ For those of you who are wondering about the profoundly stupid defamation lawsuit filed against me (and a few other defendants;
I also wrote about that on my April 20 blog post, under "Cosmic Connie and the terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad lawsuit"), there's not really any new news to report at the moment. It appears that where this suit is concerned the plaintiff is, for all practical purposes, in hiding, as is often the case with him, so things are kind of on hold for the time being. Meanwhile, I'm still responding on a timely basis to whatever is thrown my way as a result of this totally groundless case. I'm not in hiding, and I hope to have some real news soon.

Meanwhile, I suggest we all take the Monkees' advice, and... LAUGH!
And if you need any more inspiration for laughter, look no further than this. Ho, ha, ha, ha!

PPS ~ Leonard Coldwell v Connie Schmidt et al.: Case dismissed; details here. And you can view the original Complaint and the Notice of Voluntary Dismissal here.

  1. Are you having fun mocking KT's unrightful imprisonment? This blog is filled with malicious pleasure

  2. That's a fair question, Robert, at least for people who are not familiar with my blog. I am assuming that you're one of those.

As a matter of fact I have often stated that I don't think Katie belongs in a cage. Prison, in my view, is primarily for murderers, rapists, and other violent predators. Many of my friends disagree with me, however, and think Katie should stay caged.

What I AM mocking -- and having a grand old time doing it -- are Katie's martyr shtick and his faux-heroism. Because even though I don't think he belongs in a cage, I DO believe he is a scammer and a liar and a sociopath who has no conscience, and I believe he will resume his scams in earnest once he is freed. Actually he's scamming even from behind bars. It will just be easier for him once he gets out.

  3. The fact that you're going through Dr. C's videos proves that you're obsessed with him, how would your husband feel about that secret love–hate relationship of yours?

  4. Born to be a chump (Saturday, May 16, 2015 8:08:00 PM):
The fact that I cited one of Coldwell's numerous stupid videos proves only that (as always) I like to provide sources for the information and opinions I share about my subjects. That way, readers can make up their own minds.

I am assuming you are referring to the remark/link I tossed out in the PS to this post. I was actually inspired to share that link by revisiting the comments on Salty Droid's February 19, 2015 post, "Krispen Culbertson William May Lawyer SEO & Associates."

Someone using the name "Take A Good Look" (February 20, 2015 at 12:59 am) posted a link to the video I mentioned in my PS. I had actually seen it before but had forgotten about it. It is ludicrous on every level, not the least of which are the lousy production values, and the fact that Coldwell twiddles his fat little thumbs throughout much of the video. Body language experts might have something to say about that. Most of them seem to think that thumb-twiddling indicates either boredom/not paying attention; or anxiety and possibly deception. You decide. (He didn't look bored in that video.)

Let's talk for a moment about obsession. Coldwell has been spewing his own vile sexual fantasies about me since at least November 2013, when he first lied on Facebook that I had tried in vain to get Peter Wink to set me up on a date with him. Peter Wink knows this is not true, but said nothing in my defense. Coldwell started his cycle of outrageous lies about me killing his dog last July (2014), and to support that lie he continued with his filthy, semi-pornographic lies about me sexually harassing him via phone, mail, email, etc.

I found it extremely interesting that not only did he not provide any proof at all (because none exists, because none of it ever happened), but at no time did he ever try to contact my husband, Ron Kaye, and tattle. You'd think that would be the first thing he would do, after publishing "proof" of my "lewdness" to him.

Like me, my husband is both amused and disgusted by the things Coldwell has publicly written about me. Ron's only opinion regarding my "obsession" with Coldwell is that he will be glad when this stupid lawsuit is over with so we can turn our full attention again to things that really matter. But if you have something to tell my dear husband, Chump, I'm sure he will be all ears. You can communicate with him via this blog.

Or if you would prefer to take your defense of the indefensible to Salty Droid's blog, here is the link to the article.

I'm sure Salty would be glad to hear from you too.

Keeping it classy, eh, Anon? Or maybe just echoing the sentiments of your loathsome hero, who, in explaining his philosophy of "Never forgive, never forget, always get even," once wrote:

"The main cause of cancer is suppression of emotions! Is living in denial ( fake forgiving Christians have 4 times – 400%- more cancer ) If you don't get even you suppress the emotions that need to come out that means you close the vent to a boiling water pot so that the steam cannot come out and the result is that it will explode because of the pressure. The same is true for the development of cancer. You suppress your emotions, live in denial and as a victim and you WILL get cancer! I love that actually! All the cowards that camouflage their wimpyness [sic] and fear with the lie of forgiveness are dying of cancer."

(My friend Bernie wrote about this on GINtruth some time ago:
    http://gintruth.com/gnt/wpver/?p=835 )

While I myself have never claimed to be a Christian or to be a particularly forgiving person, I found it disgusting that a person who claims to be such a humanitarian healer type, as Coldwell claims himself to be, could have such an attitude. But that seems to be his attitude, and apparently he works to foster the same type of attitude in his fans and followers.

But really... "Get cancer and die" is the best argument you can come up with? Actually, it sounds as if, at some level, you are aware that I am telling the truth and that your hero is the one who is lying. Perhaps that is difficult for you to accept. I understand that. But throwing a little temper tantrum on my blog isn't going to make it any better.

Yeah right Connie, all lies from "Dr. Evil" Coldwell. That's why you made a post on "The only answer to cancer" page saying all you wanted was Dr. C's love and attention and everything you had written was false. You're only proving Dr. C's diagnosis of your bipolar disorder is correct. You seem like a sane person and I got to give you credit for the effort you put in your blog posts calling out some scammers that deserve to be called out, but please get this disorder treated because your feelings for Dr. C are not mutual.

  7. Hey, Chump: I remember that comment on The Only Answer to Cancer page. It was a fake. I immediately reported it and so did numerous other people.

Following the link, I saw that someone had set up a page to mimic my real Facebook timeline, profile avatar, cover pic, and all. Except there were no posts on the timeline, and no history -- unlike my real timeline, which has been around since 2011.

I reported the fake to Facebook and even to Sarah Julie Barendse, Coldwell's very close friend and the person who handles much though not all of his social media and web sites. She apologized and immediately took it down and also reported it to Facebook. Sarah is very loyal to Coldwell but even she didn't believe the post or timeline were real, any more than she believed that I killed Coldwell's dog, or that I am an AIDS-infected ex-prostitute.

Numerous friends of mine reported the impersonation to Facebook as well. I even sent a private message to the fake profile page while it was still up, and so did my husband.

Facebook removed the profile and it no longer exists.

If you were the person who set up that fake profile page and made the fake post, you will be caught if you try to do it again. If you're simply trying to pretend it was real in order to make me look less credible and your evil little hero look more credible, that is just pathetic. If you are dimwitted enough to believe it was real, you have a bigger problem than I do.

    ReplyDelete
  8. And to clarify, in case it wasn't clear in the above response to the comment: Sarah Barendse removed the fake *post* from the Only Answer to Cancer page. But Facebook removed the fake *profile/timeline*, and that was due to a group effort from all of us. Thank you again to everyone who helped me with that.

  9. Also, Chump, Coldwell has "diagnosed" me with many, many things. I think he might have said bipolar at one point, but he has also at various times "diagnosed" me with paranoid schizophrenia, sociopathy, Napoleon complex, mental retardation, drug addiction, and of course AIDS and cancer. He has also stated that I am a danger to myself and others. He has pretty much said the same thing about numerous other blogger critics, though (except for the AIDS bit). Also, I'm the only one I know of whom he has falsely accused of being a former prostitute, though he has falsely accused Bernie and Omri of being child rapists, and he recently predicted that Jason (Salty) will be "the next mass shooter."

All are lies, and as far as the "diagnoses" go, he is no more qualified than a cockroach is to give a diagnosis to anyone. I was going to say "no more qualified than one of my dogs..." but dogs are, overall, pretty smart about humans, and Coldwell is not.

That's a really weird story Connie, why would Coldwell fans try to setup a fake account if Sarah Julie Barendse, who is a loyal Dr. C supporter as well, were to delete it's messages? Wouldn't that undo the intended purpose of making you look bad?

But anyways about Dr. C not being qualified, this is what Peter Wink sent to your friend Bernie when asked about his credentials

"I know you hate Dr C for some reason and I'm not going to try and sway you as it's not my place. One thing I wanted to mention to you is that I know as a fact he is a real doctor. I've seen his medical credentials twice when visiting his office. There are reasons he does not discuss them. There are differences between what a doctor and a speaker can say publicly. This is something you have no experience with. I do and have dealt with it for years and completely get it. "

Maybe you don't get it either?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Please try to keep up, Chump. What I am saying is that Sarah DELETED THE POST after I told her about it. Apparently she did not know about it before that. I did not say that Sarah set it up to make me look bad. What I did say is that even though Sarah is loyal to Coldwell and defends him on most things, she did not defend his lies about me regarding the dog killing etc.

What I believe is that one misguided Coldwell fan set up the fake account. Maybe it was you. Maybe it was Florian, who wrote that dumb "Connie Schmidt exposed" blog. Maybe you are all the same person.

But Sarah, whose job it is to manage much of Coldwell's online presence, did the right thing and deleted the post from the Only Answer to Cancer page (since she is an admin of that page she has the power to do so).

I am very well aware of Peter's lame little attempt to defend Coldwell's "credentials" to Bernie. I even wrote about it here last year.

See under: "Wink tries to do damage control."

  12. Hey Chumpion - How do I feel about my wife Connie's "obsession?" I admit that I'm tired of seeing coldwell's* lies about her and others, but I'm damn proud of her for not putting up with it and doing what she can to see the truth about the little worm spread. Naturally, I am both capable and motivated where her defense is concerned, and will gladly deal with any genuine threat she faces. coldwell frankly doesn't pose any such threat; he's really more like an annoying insect, buzzing around until he gets swatted.

As to coldwell's alleged "credentials," do a bit of research on the source of those credentials, or for that matter, about the outlandish claims he makes about his alleged "cures." You'll find that none of his "credentials" are sourced to any legitimate body that required verifiable demonstrations of expertise. I'm not surprised that Wink backed him up, as Wink has a history of backing people with questionable accreditation = at least until he demonstrates his incompetence so effectively that he gets fired. At that point, he quickly does an about face and derides his former employers/BFFs.

I will be happy when this entire drama has played out, and coldwell is exposed for the liar and charlatan he truly is.

    * - The lack of capitalization is intentional - an expression of the level of respect the little worm deserves.
