Still here...just not totally present

Oh, dear, it seems that April has been another challenging collection of weeks in which other matters took priority over blogging. But there's always May... and beyond. Thank you for stopping by; I'll be back again soon. Meanwhile, as a consolation prize to the two or three folks who may have been hoping for an actual blog post, here's a .gif of my two youngest, Dobby the dog and Orlando the half-grown kitten -- collectively known around here as Doblando -- celebrating their friendship. It's an appropriate image to share on a day when it has been raining cats and dogs in my neck of the woods. I thought for a while that the rain would never stop. But you know what they say... April showers bring May blog posts. Or something like that.
