Oh, dear, it seems that April has been another challenging collection of weeks in which other matters took priority over blogging. But there's always May... and beyond. Meanwhile, as a consolation prize to the two or three folks who may have been hoping for an actual blog post, here's a .gif of my two youngest, Dobby the dog and Orlando the half-grown kitten -- collectively known around here as Doblando -- celebrating their friendship. It's an appropriate image to share on a day when it has been raining cats and dogs in my neck of the woods. I thought for a while that the rain would never stop. But you know what they say...
