Those lazy days of summer

Don't worry. I'm still here, and I'm not resting on my laurels just because my Whirled has survived for a decade. Chalk up my absence to a case of the summer doldrums -- August often has that effect on me -- combined with some real-world engagements. There's a lot to write about, and I will. Soon.
